Every Tuesday at 9 a.m. - Tack, Pack, Snack, & Yak

Quilting

You do not need to know how to quilt or sew to join in the fun and fellowship. If you can tie a knot— you can help! These warm quilts are sent to Lutheran World Relief to be distributed all over the world. Some are also given to Horse Creek residents, to the Children’s Inn, and to other needs in the community.

Bible Study

Generally we meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month. The bible studies are taken from the “Gather” magazine (formerly Lutheran Woman Today ). Watch the bulletin and newsletter for place and time of the bible studies. Winter months we will be meeting in the afternoon, the rest of the year in the evening.

WELCA Meeting & Brunch

Once a month, generally the first Saturday of the month, we gather for a potluck brunch and discuss upcoming events.

Kits

We assemble different kits such as Baby Care Kits, Personal Care Kits, Fabric Kits, and School Kits that are distributed through Lutheran World Relief and locally. For details on each kit, click HERE.

Harvest Festival Supper

Every year on the third Saturday in September, we host a Harvest Festival Supper complete with roast beef, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn, salads, desserts, and Norwegian goodies. There is also a bake and craft sale. This meal is not only a great community event but is also a fundraiser to help send students to Confirmation Camp as well as support many other ministries.
